Indoor Padel
For Every Starting Point

Padel is easy to try, but the right club makes all the difference. At Foundry Padel Club, four indoor courts, no membership required, and a genuinely welcoming approach make it easier to start, improve, meet others, and enjoy the sport all year round.

A new destination for movement, community and wellbeing — rooted in the same part of town where people once came together to play.

Why Padel Works

Easy to start
Worth coming back to

Padel club

Padel works because it removed many of the barriers people associate with racket sports.

  • The courts are smaller
  • The serve is underarm
  • Padel is usual played as doubles
  • The rallies tend to last longer
  • Scoring feels familiar to tennis

Movement, positioning, walls, teamwork and tactics give improving players plenty to learn. For people who find the gym hard to love, padel offers something different: exercise with energy, purpose and other people built in.

Year-round, weather-protected padel

A good padel experience depends on more than just having a court to play on. Cold, wind, rain, glare and poor conditions can all shape how much someone enjoys the sport — especially when they're new to it.

Foundry Padel Club brings padel to a newly built indoor space in Burgess Hill, designed for reliable playing comfort all year round. Four super-panoramic courts give spectators clear views and an open feel around play, while no membership, racket hire, and adapted court access help more people get started.

Different ways to play

Foundry Padel Club is organised around different routes into the sport, however people want to arrive:

  • Book & play — reserve a court with friends, whenever suits
  • Coaching & social sessions — build confidence and skills, at your own pace
  • Mix-ins & tournaments — meet people and find a level that feels right
  • Schools, groups & organisations — tailored access for teams and local groups
  • Corporate & bespoke events — host your own padel event at the Club

However people arrive, the aim is the same: make it easy to play, improve and feel welcome.

You do not need a level
to begin

Foundry Padel Club uses Playtomic for court bookings, payments and player levels. Some players arrive already knowing their level. Many arrive with no level at all. Both are equally welcome — and for anyone unsure, our levelling sessions are a relaxed way to find out where you stand.

Levels are useful — they help people find games that feel fair, enjoyable and well matched. What they shouldn't do is make the sport feel intimidating. As the Club grows, coaching, social sessions and mix-ins will help first-timers, beginners, improvers and experienced players alike find the right people to play with.

New to Padel?

Your first visit should feel easy

Trying padel for the first time should feel straightforward. If it's your first visit to Foundry Padel Club, we suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before you're due on court. That gives you time to meet the team, take a look around, warm up on an exercise bike, and settle into the Club lounge before your session starts.

Padel is usually played as doubles, but you don't need to organise a four before you begin. Coaching, social sessions and mix-ins can help you find people to play with.

You can hire a racket on site. Wear comfortable sports clothing and trainers with good grip, and bring a refillable water bottle for the fountain. A small towel is useful on court; if you plan to shower afterwards, bring a larger one too. Lockers and storage will be available, but we suggest
bringing only what you need and keeping valuables to a minimum.

Coaching

Coaching that helps
you progress

Player levels are useful, but they are only a starting point. Coaching at Foundry Padel Club helps people understand where they are, what to work on next and how to enjoy the sport more as they improve.

The dedicated coaching page will cover individual lessons, group coaching, junior sessions and support for first-timers, improvers and more advanced players, including match play and tournaments, with more detail added as sessions are confirmed.
